Ingredients

  1. 2 cups of grated coconut
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 150 g jaggery (gud)
  5. 10 Threptin Diskettes (crushed to powder)

METHOD

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Mix well until combined.
  3. Place a kadai on the gas stove and pour the mixture into it.
  4. Start stirring the mixture continuously until it becomes thick, sticky, and brown in colour.
  5. Once it turns sticky, switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool completely.
  6. After it cools down, take a small portion and shape it into a small ball.

The Threptin Narkel Naru or Threptin Coconut Laddu is now ready to eat.
