Ingredients

  1. Threptin Diskettes – 2
  2. Milk – 1 cup
  3. Sugar – 1 cup
  4. Water – 1 cup
  5. Ghee – 1 tsp
  6. Cardamom powder – to taste
  7. Fresh cream – 1 tsp

METHOD

  1. Take 2 Threptin Diskettes and break them into a fine powder.
  2. Pour water and sugar into a pan and prepare the sugar syrup. Add cardamom powder and kesar. Keep it aside.
  3. Take another pan and pour in the milk and ghee. Heat the milk until it boils. While boiling, slowly add the Threptin powder and stir continuously. Let it steam for a few minutes, then switch off the flame.
  4. Add fresh cream to the dough and shape it into small balls.
  5. Fry these balls in ghee or refined oil until they turn golden in colour.
  6. Remove the fried balls and put them into the prepared sugar syrup.
  7. Garnish with dry fruits and kesar.
