A tasty and crunchy snack to brighten up boring lockdown days!

Ingredients

  1. Threptin Diskettes – as required (mashed)
  2. Brown bread – mashed
  3. Onion – finely chopped
  4. Green chillies – finely chopped
  5. Coriander leaves – finely chopped
  6. Salt – to taste
  7. Sugar – a pinch
  8. Chaat masala – to taste
  9. Oil – for shallow frying

METHOD

  1. In a bowl, mash the Threptin Diskettes along with the mashed brown bread.
  2. Add chopped onions, green chillies, and coriander leaves.
  3. Add salt, a pinch of sugar, and chaat masala.
  4. Mix everything well to form a uniform mixture.
  5. Shape the mixture into small tikkis.
  6. Shallow fry the tikkis in a pan with oil until they turn crisp and golden on both sides.
  7. Remove and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
