Tikki

A tasty and crunchy snack to brighten up boring lockdown days!
Ingredients
- Threptin Diskettes – as required (mashed)
- Brown bread – mashed
- Onion – finely chopped
- Green chillies – finely chopped
- Coriander leaves – finely chopped
- Salt – to taste
- Sugar – a pinch
- Chaat masala – to taste
- Oil – for shallow frying
METHOD
- In a bowl, mash the Threptin Diskettes along with the mashed brown bread.
- Add chopped onions, green chillies, and coriander leaves.
- Add salt, a pinch of sugar, and chaat masala.
- Mix everything well to form a uniform mixture.
- Shape the mixture into small tikkis.
- Shallow fry the tikkis in a pan with oil until they turn crisp and golden on both sides.
- Remove and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
