Ingredients for preparation:

  1. Threptin Diskettes – 10
  2. Eggs – 2
  3. Milk – 1 small bowl (200 ml)

Ingredients for Garnishing:

  1. Threptin Diskettes – 10
  2. Dry fruits – pistachio, almond, and cashew nuts (ground to a coarse powder)
  3. Few whole almonds
  4. Honey – ½ teaspoon for brushing

Method:

  • First, finely crush all 20 Threptin Diskettes into a fine powder. Once done, divide the powder into two equal parts and keep them aside in two separate bowls. Each bowl should contain powder from 10 Threptin Diskettes.
  • Crack the eggs into a container and beat them well using a balloon whisk.
  • Add milk to the container and mix well.
  • Add one bowl of crushed Threptin Diskettes powder and 2 teaspoons of honey. Stir and mix the batter thoroughly.
  • Pour the batter into an aluminium cake container and steam it in a cooker for 20 minutes without using the whistle.
  • Once done, gently remove the container and keep it aside for garnishing.

Garnishing:

  • Brush the top surface of the pudding evenly with the ½ teaspoon of honey kept aside.
  • Sprinkle the second bowl of Threptin Diskettes powder over the honey-coated surface to completely cover the top of the pudding.
  • Sprinkle the coarsely crushed dry fruits (pistachio, almond, and cashew nuts) over the Diskettes layer.
  • Refrigerate the pudding for about one hour to allow it to cool.
  • After one hour, remove it from the refrigerator and cut it into six equal parts. Place one whole almond on each piece.
